Happy holidays!

Season's greetings from the entire crew at BoardBook. Wishing you a joyous holiday season with peace and cheer in the New Year!

Training for administrative professionals

The Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) hosted the first of two Conferences for Administrative Professionals in Austin in October. More than 70 administrative professionals from around the state attended the BoardBook workshop on committee management at the TASB headquarters.

We will also be presenting at the second Conference for Administrative Professionals February 10-11, 2022.

Additional information about working with committees can be found on the BoardBook Premier Training and Support Resources page.

Resources specifically designed for viewers

Our new Viewer Support Page houses a collection of resources to help board members and other viewers get the most out of BoardBook and your meeting materials. We emailed all voting members last month to let them know about the new resources.

We have also added new settings that allow you to manage a number of details about how attachments are displayed on the View Meeting Details or Meeting Quick View screens. For users with the Settings Manager permission, User Preferences will appear as a settings option.

Welcome new trustees to your board

If you have new board or committee members after the November elections, you might be in a period of adjustment. Ensuring your whole team is on the same page with using BoardBook is just one way to make your new trustee feel welcomed. Read four other things to keep in mind when welcoming new members to your board.
